Description
Version 0.75 L bucket. Düfa Boat Clear Varnish in the 750 ml can is a solvent-based, aromatic-free alkyd resin varnish for transparent, weather-resistant, impact- and shock-resistant coatings on fine wooden surfaces. It is suited to boat superstructures above the waterline, boat interiors such as furniture, doors and wood panelling, and as a colourless gloss coating on surfaces already painted.

Technical details and application
Binder: alkyd resin. Gloss level high gloss, shade colourless, density about 0.90 g/cm³. Consumption about 80 to 100 ml/m² per coating. Drying time at 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity: surface-dry after about 4 to 6 hours, can be overcoated after about 24 hours. Application temperature at least +5 °C. If required, with a maximum of 10 % aromatic-free thinner.
Application: the substrate must be clean, free of grease, dry and load-bearing. Remove weathered wood down to sound wood, clean resin-rich woods with nitro universal thinner and let them flash off; wood moisture must not exceed about 13 % for dimensionally stable components. Stir the varnish well and apply thinly in the direction of the grain with a varnish brush; outdoors provide for at least three coats and lightly sand between coats.
