Correx Metal Adhesion Primer – rust protection primer for zinc and NE metals
Correx Adhesion Primer is a solvent-based, aromatic-free special primer for metal substrates. It reliably protects iron and steel against corrosion and provides adhesion on aluminium, zinc, copper and paint-compatible plastics – for indoors and outdoors.

Technical properties
Ready to apply undiluted, application with brush or roller. Consumption approx. 8 m²/l depending on the absorbency of the substrate. At +20 °C and max. 60 % rel. humidity: dust-dry after approx. 1 hr., touch-dry after approx. 3 hrs., can be overpainted after approx. 12 hrs. – correspondingly longer at lower temperature and higher humidity. Shade grey, supplied as 750 ml can. Can then be overpainted in colour with Correx Metal Protection Paint 3in1 or Correx Hammer Finish Paint 3in1.
💡 Practical tips
The substrate must be dry, clean, sound, free of grease and free of algae, mosses, resins, waxes or oils – pre-treat if necessary. Application from min. +5 °C for object and surroundings. A test coating is recommended before application to determine consumption precisely. Store closed, cool, dry and frost-free.
