Description
Teroson AD SP Window Sealing Tape Adhesive is a water-based special polymer for bonding plasterable waterproofing membrane systems in facade & window construction

Substrate preparation:
Clean the substrate before bonding. The substrate of the bonding surfaces must be sound, firm, free of dust, oil, grease, release agents and laitance and free of other anti-adhesive constituents. Coarse depressions, e.g. gravel pockets or voids in concrete, must be filled beforehand.
Minor unevenness such as occurs in refurbishment of old buildings, unevenness due to the stone surface and even unevenness in not too coarse exposed-aggregate concrete can be compensated without problems by applying a larger quantity of adhesive. For mineral, weakly bonded but load-bearing substrates a TEROSON primer coat is recommended. TEROSON PR Primer M+S according to DGNB, LEED, BREEAM is particularly suitable for this.
Application:
TEROSON AD SP is a sprayable, water-based special polymer that sets or cures by releasing its water (physical drying). It is therefore important that dry weather conditions prevail during application and for several hours afterwards, so that some of the water can be released and the surface sets.
If very uneven substrates, e.g. masonry or old exposed-aggregate concrete, are bonded over during refurbishment, the through-curing period lengthens accordingly so that the thicker adhesive layer can dry through. If a longer drying time cannot be ensured or the weather conditions are unfavourable, the use of TEROSON AD KDS is recommended.
The adhesive is applied to the building structure in strips with a manual or compressed-air gun (air pressure 2-5 bar). The waterproofing membrane is then pressed firmly into the still-fresh, skin-free adhesive paste and worked on using the TEROSON hard rubber roller or another suitable tool.
Storage:
Terotech SP can be stored cool but frost-free in the original packaging.
