Description
Soudal WohnGesund SMX B2 Mounting Foam is an isocyanate-free 1K PU replacement foam based on SMX technology for filling, insulating and fitting window and door frames and for foam-filling cavities. Compared with conventional PU foams it offers significantly better UV resistance and is particularly suitable for living spaces with high demands on healthy living.

Technical properties
Silane-terminated SMX polymer, bulk density approx. 40 kg/m³, skin formation after approx. 13 min., cuttable after approx. 45 min., cured temperature resistance -40°C to +90°C. Building material class B2 (DIN 4102-1, test certificate P-SAC 02/III-496, MFPA Leipzig), tested isocyanate-free (SP Sweden no. F4 17365). Yield: 500 ml gives approx. 10 litres of foam.
Application & tips
Screw on the adapter tube, shake the can approx. 30 times. Fill joints only to about 1/3 with foam, as the foam still expands. Application temperature +5°C to +30°C (optimum 15–25°C). Cut cured foam off with a knife. Adheres to concrete, masonry, wood and metal, not to PE, PP and PTFE.
