Description
Ottoseal S 10 Structural Adhesive is an extremely UV-resistant and tear-resistant structural adhesive. Ottoseal S 10 Structural Adhesive for bonding and sealing glass elements, including X-ray protection glass. Ottoseal S 10 Structural Adhesive is particularly well suited to sealing glass elements, sloping glazing, roof glazing and conservatories.

Pre-treatment:
The bonding surfaces must be cleaned and any contamination, such as release agents, preservatives, grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives / sealants and other substances that impair adhesion, must be removed. Cleaning non-porous substrates: clean with OTTO Cleaner T (flash-off time approx. 1 minute) and a clean, lint-free cloth. Cleaning porous substrates: clean surfaces of loose particles mechanically, e.g. with a steel brush or a grinding disc. The bonding surfaces must be clean, free of grease, dry and sound.
Application:
Application temperature: +5ºC to +35ºC.
Application method: apply with a manual caulking gun, compressed-air gun or cordless gun.
Cleaning: with white spirit before curing, afterwards removable with silicone remover or mechanically.
Smoothing: with smoothing agent and scraper before a skin forms.
Storage:
Can be stored for at least 12 months cool and dry.
