Description
The Tangit M4082 sealing hose is a self-sealing system component made of polyacrylate for permanent sealing of house entries with Tangit M3000. It is wrapped around the pipe or cable and cast with expansion resin on both sides to reliably close annular gaps even against pressurised water.

Technical properties
The sealing hose consists of polyacrylate with a self-swelling effect on contact with water, is 80 cm long and around 1.5 cm in diameter – suitable for annular gaps of 8–15 mm and pipe diameters up to 90 mm. In combination with Tangit M3000 the system meets the requirements of DIN 18533 (W2.1-E) and was developed with the Fraunhofer Institute.
Application and practical tips
Place at least three turns around the pipe or cable and push into the annular gap to around 50 mm behind the outside of the wall, then enclose completely on both sides with Tangit M3000. Installation is intended exclusively in conjunction with Tangit M3000. Stored dry and protected from light between +5 °C and +20 °C, the sealing hose in its closed original container remains usable indefinitely.
