- Inexpensive entry-level tool for painters and stucco plasterers
Areas of application
- Rubbing down insulating-layer plasters for a fine, grainy surface
- Working fine interior plasters with the pad's low suction behaviour
- Alternative to felt or sponge floats on sensitive plaster surfaces
Technical details & application tips
The float consists of a black, closed-pore cellular rubber pad with a thickness of 8–10 mm on a backing plate in the format 280 x 140 mm. Thanks to the low suction effect of the material, only little moisture is drawn from the plaster, which results in a fine, evenly grainy surface structure – ideal for insulating-layer plasters and fine interior plasters, mainly indoors.
Guide the float over the still workable plaster with circular or overlapping movements. The pad is easy to clean with water and is thus equipped for daily use in the building and stucco trades.

All reviews come from buyers. Reviews can only be submitted via the personal, signed link we send to the order's e-mail address after delivery; the link is bound to the order and the purchased item, there is no form without a purchase. We check every review before publication and publish positive and negative reviews alike. Reviews from our former shop baustoffhandel-nrw.de were migrated; there, too, only customers who had bought the item could review it.
