Technical details and application
The blade is made of stainless steel and stays stable in shape and function with frequent contact with damp plaster and mortar. The flat, wide wooden handle sits well in the hand and allows controlled guidance when smoothing larger surfaces. The Swiss pattern differs from the classic trowel shape in its straight edges, which allow corners and transitions to be worked more cleanly.
Tip: After use the smoothing trowel should be stored dry and clean of mortar and plaster residues, to keep blade and handle functional in the long term.
