Description
Cleaner F metal cleaner for cleaning metallic materials (bare or powder-coated) of uncured Ottocoll polyurethane adhesive residues. Removal of grease or oil films on metallic substrates.

Areas of application:
Cleaning metallic materials (bare or powder-coated) of uncured Ottocoll polyurethane adhesive residues. Removal of grease or oil films on metallic substrates.
Application notes:
Apply the cleaner to a clean cloth and use it to remove the uncured adhesive. Powder-coated metal profiles should always be cleaned lengthwise (not in circles). Owing to the large number of different powder coatings, it cannot be ruled out that particularly sensitive powder coatings may be attacked; for these we recommend Cleaner C profile cleaner. Cured adhesive residues in the cleaning cloths and frequent, vigorous, circular cleaning movements promote attack on the coatings. For this reason we recommend always using fresh cloths. Because of the many possible influences during processing and application, the applicator must always carry out a trial application. The specific use-by date can be found printed on the container and must be observed.
Application:
The following procedure achieves an optimum result: apply Cleaner F to a clean cloth and use it to remove the uncured polyurethane adhesive. Powder-coated metal profiles should always be cleaned lengthwise (not in circles). Note: Owing to the large number of different powder coatings, it cannot be ruled out that particularly sensitive powder coatings may be attacked. Cured adhesive residues in the cleaning cloths and frequent, vigorous, circular cleaning movements promote attack on the coatings. For this reason we recommend always using fresh cloths.
Storage:
12 months from the date of production in unopened packaging, stored cool (+5ºC and +25ºC) and dry. Close opened containers tightly and use up quickly.
