Winter foam – PU foam for extreme temperatures
Soudal winter foam is a special polyurethane foam in a gun can that cures reliably even at deep sub-zero temperatures down to -20°C. It is suitable for sealing and installing window and door frames and for filling cavities – ideal for use in refrigerated vehicle and cold-room construction.

Technical properties & application
The PU winter foam adheres to almost all common building substrates (except PE, PP, PTFE and silicones) and offers higher sound and thermal insulation than mineral wool, cork or fibreglass. The application temperature is ideally between +5°C and +30°C, with the foam specially formulated for use down to -20°C. Before use, shake the can vigorously about 30 x, fill cavities only to one third and cut off excess cured foam with a knife.
