Description
Soudatight WP is a 1-component liquid membrane based on hybrid polymer for the permanent sealing of window connections outdoors, for example on balconies and terraces. When cured, it forms a seamless, elastic, vapour-permeable and waterproof layer that can be painted over or plastered.

Chemical and technical properties
Base hybrid polymer, density approx. 1.51 g/ml, viscosity approx. 75,000 mPa·s. Skin-forming time approx. 30 min. (23 °C/50 % RH), through-curing approx. 3 hrs/1 mm. Tensile strength ≥ 1.30 N/mm², elongation at break > 500 %, Shore A hardness approx. 29. Temperature resistance -40 °C to +80 °C, application temperature +5 °C to +40 °C. Consumption approx. 2.0 kg/m²/2 mm.
Application tips
Apply undiluted with a flat brush in 2 layers: approx. 1 mm base layer, embed Soudatextile fleece with a 3-5 cm overlap, then 1-2 mm top layer. Keep the substrate sound and free of dust and oil; slightly damp surfaces are not a problem. 5 kg is enough for approx. 2.5 m².
