Description
The silicone-free floor sealant OTTOSEAL M 390 is a real all-rounder in the flooring sector because, despite its high elasticity and good workability, in the cured state it forms a robust and highly resilient surface that withstands not only mechanical but also chemical stresses. This makes it ideally suited to expansion and connection joints with various floor coverings. In addition, the sealant can be sanded and painted over after curing, and it holds the ISEGA declaration of no objection for the area close to food.

Pre-treatment:
Preparing the bonding surfaces. Compatibility: paints, varnishes, plastics and other coating materials must be compatible with the adhesive / sealant.
Cleaning: The bonding surfaces must be cleaned and any contamination, such as release agents, preservatives, grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives / sealants and other substances that impair adhesion, must be removed.
Substrates: cleaner for non-porous. Cleaning should be done with OTTO Cleaner T , or other acetone- or isopropanol-based cleaners and with a clean, lint-free cloth. Cleaner for porous substrates: porous surfaces must be cleaned of loose particles mechanically, e.g. with a steel brush or a grinding disc.
Application:
Application temperature: +5ºC to +35ºC.
Application method: Apply with manual caulking gun, compressed-air gun or cordless gun.
Cleaning: With cleaner before curing, afterwards removable with silicone remover or mechanically.
Smoothing: With smoothing agent and scraper before skin formation.
Storage:
Can be stored cool and dry.
The specific use-by date can be found printed on the container and must be observed. We recommend storing Otto Chemie adhesives and sealants in the unopened original containers dry (< 60 % RH) in a temperature range of + 15° C to + 25° C. If the products are stored and/or transported for longer periods (several weeks) at higher temperature/humidity, a reduction in shelf life or a change in material properties cannot be ruled out.

All reviews come from buyers. Reviews can only be submitted via the personal, signed link we send to the order's e-mail address after delivery; the link is bound to the order and the purchased item, there is no form without a purchase. We check every review before publication and publish positive and negative reviews alike. Reviews from our former shop baustoffhandel-nrw.de were migrated; there, too, only customers who had bought the item could review it.
