Description

Special notes Ottoseal Parquet:
Before using the product, the user must ensure that the materials in the contact area with it and with each other are compatible and do not damage or alter each other (e.g. discolour). For materials that are subsequently processed in the area of the product, the user must clarify beforehand that their ingredients or emissions cannot impair or alter the product (e.g. discolouration). If necessary, the user must consult the respective manufacturer of the materials. With floating installation, make sure that the expansion joints remain free. In every case the installation instructions of the manufacturers must be observed. During curing/drying the sealant changes colour. The final shade is reached after complete curing. With oiled surfaces as well as oily woods, adhesion and compatibility problems with the sealant can occur. We ask that preliminary tests be carried out for this.
Application notes:
Smooth the sealing compound within 5 minutes. Curing takes approx. 2-14 days depending on joint thickness. Because of the many possible influences during processing and application, the applicator must always carry out a trial application. The specific use-by date can be found printed on the container and must be observed. We recommend storing our products in the unopened original containers dry (< 60 % RH) in a temperature range of + 15° C to + 25° C. If the products are stored and/or transported for longer periods (several weeks) at higher temperature/humidity, a reduction in shelf life or a change in material properties cannot be ruled out.
