For smoothing the surface of silicone, polyurethane and MS hybrid polymer sealants
Standards and tests:
- On the basis of the results of the in-vivo compatibility test (test report from the Institut Fresenius, D-65232 Taunusstein), the smoothing agent can be classed as harmless with regard to any skin-irritating effect
Application:
Shake before use. Apply OTTO smoothing agent spray as sparingly and precisely as possible to the sealant surface and wet the smoothing tools only lightly with OTTO smoothing agent spray. Smoothing agent must not remain on the sealant joint and adjacent surfaces and dry on, as dried residues can under certain circumstances lead to visual impairment (matt/light stains). Smoothing agent residues must be removed with clear water before they dry on. Before use, ensure compatibility with adjacent surfaces such as coated woods by preliminary tests. Sensitive boundary surfaces and substrate materials must be protected by suitable measures during application. For applications in connection with marble and other natural stones we recommend OTTO Marble Silicone Smoothing Agent GLM. Because of the many possible influences during processing and application, the applicator must always carry out a trial application.
Storage:
In unopened packaging, stored cool (+5ºC and +25ºC) and dry. Close opened containers tightly and use up quickly.
