Description
Ottoflex Adhesion Primer for Walls and Floors creates high bond strength even on dense and smooth substrates such as glazed tiles for tile adhesives and solvent-free coatings.

Areas of application of Ottoflex Adhesion Primer for Walls and Floors:
- Primer and bonding bridge on absorbent and non-absorbent floor and wall surfaces indoors and outdoors, before laying ceramic coverings.
- Suitable for a wide variety of substrates, e.g. hydraulically hardening cement plaster, lime plaster and gypsum plasters, gypsum planks, gypsum fibreboards, lightweight boards, brick masonry, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, cement screed, anhydrite screed, magnesia and mastic asphalt screeds, wooden floorboards, self-levelling floor levelling compounds, natural stone, glazed tiles, steel and glass.
- Creates a secure bond with subsequent tile adhesives, coatings and water-based thin-bed mortars.
Pre-treatment:
The substrate must be firm, sound, absorbent and perfectly level as well as free of oil, grease, dust and other separating layers.
The residual moisture must not exceed the following values:
Cement screed: 2 %
Calcium sulphate screed: 0.5 %
Heated calcium sulphate screed: 0.3 %
Gypsum-bound plasters: 1 %.

Application note:
Stir well with a paddle or shake before use and apply with a paint roller. Apply undiluted on non-absorbent substrates, diluted 1:1 with water on absorbent substrates. For use in wet areas or outdoors, the primer must be protected by a suitable bonded waterproofing (Ottoflex liquid membrane (only suitable for wet areas) or sealing slurry). Subsequent coatings can be applied wet-on-wet on absorbent substrates; on non-absorbent substrates such as glazed tiles, steel, glass, GRP the drying time must be observed. Not suitable for solvent-based adhesives. Immediately after use, clean soiled areas and tools with water. Because of the many possible influences during processing and application, the applicator must always carry out a trial application.
