tesa® 4848 Surface Protection Film – protection for sensitive surfaces
The tesa® 4848 is a self-adhesive, transparent PE protective film against paint splashes, dust, scratches and chemicals. Thanks to UV- and ageing-resistant acrylate adhesive it can be removed without residue for up to 4 weeks – ideal for painting, construction and transport work indoors and outdoors.

Detailed product description
Technical properties
48 µm PE film with UV- and ageing-resistant acrylate adhesive. Tear strength 12 N/cm, adhesion to steel 0.8 N/cm, elongation at break 200 %. Temperature-resistant -10 °C to +60 °C, application from +5 °C.

Practical application tips
Keep the substrate clean, dry and free of grease. Unroll the film without wrinkles and press it on. At temperatures below +5 °C, acclimatise before use and remove after 4 weeks at the latest.
