The Birtel protective board is a grey floor protection board of 500 g/m² on a roll (1 m × 50 m) for painting, refurbishment and conversion work. One roll covers 50 m² of floor. It protects parquet, marble and PVC floors from dirt and damage during trade work and can be reused several times depending on how soiled it is. It is made for painters, renovators and DIY users who want to cover larger areas in one piece.

Limits & notes
The protective board is a paper layer and not a liquid-tight protection. For larger amounts of water or paint, a PE-coated protective fleece with a liquid-tight backing is the right choice.
Application & tips
The board comes on a roll 1 m wide. Roll out room-length pieces, cut them off and lay them side by side. Joints and edges can be joined with wide cloth tape if needed so that nothing slips. Cut out corners and recesses with scissors or a carpet knife. After the work, let the board dry and, depending on how soiled it is, lay it out again at the next job.
