Description
Soudal Soudaflex 40FC is a one-component, high-modulus adhesive and sealant based on polyurethane for metal, concrete, wood and many plastics. The grey colour version is suitable for discreet joints on metal and concrete components. It is used above all as a joint sealant in the construction and metal industries.

Chemical and technical properties
Base polyurethane, density approx. 1.30 g/ml, skin-forming time approx. 25 min. (23 °C/50 % RH), through-curing approx. 3 mm/24 h, Shore A hardness 40 ± 5, tensile strength 1.70 N/mm², elongation at break approx. 700 %. Temperature-resistant -30 °C to +90 °C, application temperature +5 °C to +35 °C.
Application tips
Keep the substrate sound, clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Pre-treat porous substrates exposed to water with Primer 100, clean smooth surfaces with Surface Activator. Application with a manual or compressed-air gun; remove fresh material with Surface Cleaner or Swipex, cured material mechanically or with silicone remover.
