Description
Soudal Silirub S is an acetic-curing 1-component sanitary silicone for permanently elastic, waterproof joints in bathrooms, kitchens and sanitary areas. Thanks to its fungicidal treatment, the joint stays reliably protected from mould attack even in damp rooms.

Chemical and technical properties
Acetic-curing 1K silicone based on polysiloxane, density approx. 1.00 g/ml, Shore A hardness 20 ± 5. Tensile strength 1.5 N/mm² (ISO 37) at up to 700 % elongation at break. Skin-forming time approx. 7 minutes, through-curing approx. 2 mm/24 h. Complies with ISO 7389 (recovery > 90 %), ISO 11600 and SCAQMD 1168.
Application tips
Keep substrates sound, clean, dry and free of dust and grease – not on PVC, PE, PP, PTFE. Pre-clean smooth surfaces with Soudal Surface Activator, pre-treat porous substrates with Primer 150. Apply with a manual or compressed-air gun at 5 °C to 35 °C; smooth fresh joints with smoothing agent, remove residues with Soudal silicone remover.
