Description
Soudal MF 167 Click & Fix is a 1-component polyurethane foam for filling and insulating that is classified in building material class B1 – i.e. flame-retardant. This makes it interesting for areas in which increased fire protection requirements apply. The can contains 750 ml and is processed with a foam gun.
Benefits
- Building material class B1 to DIN 4102, flame-retardant
- Can be applied from −5 °C, hence a long building season
- Bulk density of about 25 kg/m³, good ratio of yield to strength
- Paintable, connections can be reworked
- Resistant when cured from −40 °C to +90 °C
Areas of application
- Filling and insulating joints, connections and cavities on walls
- Sealing openings indoors and outdoors
- Components with increased fire protection requirements where B2 foam is not sufficient
Product details
The foam consists of 1-component polyurethane and is coloured grey. It cures through atmospheric humidity and can be cut after about one hour. Application temperature −5 °C to +35 °C. Made in Belgium.
Shake the can vigorously and screw it upright into the gun. Dampen the substrate, then dispense evenly and fill joints only partially, as the foam expands afterwards. Remove fresh foam immediately with PU cleaner. Cured foam is not UV-resistant and must be covered outdoors.
