Ottocoll M 595 full-surface adhesive white 580 ml

Description

Ottocoll M 595 for full-surface bonding is a hybrid adhesive. It adheres very well without primer on numerous substrates.

  • 1K adhesive based on STPU hybrid polymer
  • Very good primer-free adhesion on numerous substrates — even under water load
  • Good weather and ageing resistance
  • For stress-compensating bonding and under dynamic loads
  • Low odour
  • Free of isocyanates
  • Solvent-free
  • Silicone-free
  • Paint-compatible according to DIN 52452

Areas of application of Surface Adhesive:

  • For use indoors and outdoors
  • For stress-compensating bonding and assembly of a wide variety of materials such as wood, wood-based materials, glass, metals (e.g. aluminium, stainless steel, anodised aluminium, brass, copper), plastics (e.g. rigid PVC, flexible PVC, GRP etc.), mineral substrates (e.g. brick, tile, ceramics), fire-protection building boards (plasterboard etc.)
  • For vehicle body and vehicle construction, railway wagon and container construction, metal and apparatus engineering, shipbuilding

Special notes:

Before using the product, the user must ensure that the materials in the contact area with it and with each other are compatible and do not damage or alter each other (e.g. discolour). For materials that are subsequently processed in the area of the product, the user must clarify beforehand that their ingredients or emissions cannot impair or alter the product (e.g. discolouration). If necessary, the user must consult the respective manufacturer of the materials.

Pre-treatment:

The bonding surfaces must be clean, free of grease and sound. The bonding surfaces must be cleaned and any contamination, such as release agents, preservatives, grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives/sealants and other substances that impair adhesion, must be removed. Cleaning non-porous substrates: clean with OTTO Cleaner T (flash-off time approx. 1 minute) and a clean, lint-free cloth. Cleaning porous substrates: clean surfaces of loose particles mechanically, e.g. with a steel brush or a grinding disc.

Consumption:

Adhesive quantity [g/m²] approx. 750g, which corresponds to 500ml with a B3 notched trowel

Application notes:

Fix the materials to be bonded until the adhesive has cured completely. For full-surface application, the size of the notched trowel must be chosen so that enough adhesive is present and both substrate surfaces are sufficiently wetted with adhesive after joining. Insufficient wetting has a negative effect on bond strength. The time to curing can be shortened by adding moisture and by higher temperatures. For full-surface bonding of moisture-impermeable materials and to accelerate curing, dampening is required.

Storage:

We recommend storing our products in the unopened original containers dry (< 60 % RH) in a temperature range of + 15° C to + 25° C.

All reviews come from buyers. Reviews can only be submitted via the personal, signed link we send to the order's e-mail address after delivery; the link is bound to the order and the purchased item, there is no form without a purchase. We check every review before publication and publish positive and negative reviews alike. Reviews from our former shop baustoffhandel-nrw.de were migrated; there, too, only customers who had bought the item could review it.

For your project

These products go with it

Project: Bond strips, boards and panels

Bond strips, panels and wall boards onto a clean, load-bearing and dust-free substrate; absorbent surfaces such as plaster or concrete need a primer depending on the adhesive. Apply the adhesive in strips or, for large boards, over the full surface with the notched trowel and fix the parts until the adhesive has grabbed.
