Description
The Mesto PRIMER 3237P is a hand-operated pressure sprayer for spraying deep primer, bonding primer and other sprayable construction chemicals. According to the manufacturer, the FPM (Viton) seals offer good resistance to many construction chemicals; the maximum operating pressure is 3 bar. The side-carried plastic tank holds 5 litres with a total capacity of 7 litres and is aimed at painters, tilers and plasterers in daily building-site use.

Limits & notes
According to the manufacturer, the unit must not be used for spraying plant protection products. The maximum operating pressure of 3 bar limits it to thin, sprayable media; filled paints, varnishes and pasty coatings belong in an airless or cup spray gun. FPM is resistant to many, but not all construction chemicals: before using media with a strong acid or solvent content, check the manufacturer's resistance information.
Application & tips
Fill the container only up to the 5 litre mark, close it and build up pressure with the pump; the foot rest holds the unit to the ground while doing so. Test the spray pattern on an inconspicuous area, then work in overlapping passes. The safety valve releases excess pressure automatically. When spraying construction chemicals, the protective instructions in the safety data sheet of the respective medium apply, not those of the unit. After work, release residual pressure, empty the container, flush all parts that carry the medium with water or a suitable cleaner and remove and clean the dirt filter. Store the unit empty and frost-free.
