Description
The Düfa Wood Insulating Primer is a white, water-based barrier primer for wood surfaces indoors and outdoors. It isolates water-soluble, discolouring wood constituents and forms the basis for an opaque coating on fences, half-timbering, windows, doors or wooden ceilings.

Technical properties & application
The barrier primer is applied with a brush (plastic or mixed bristles) or spray equipment in 2-3 coats, consumption is approx. 100-125 ml/m² per coat. At +20°C and max. 60% relative humidity the surface is surface-dry after approx. 1 hour and can be overpainted after 12-24 hours. The substrate must be clean, dry and sound; the residual moisture of the wood should not exceed 15-18%. Clean resinous and oily woods beforehand with nitro universal thinner. Always store closed, cool, dry and frost-free. Supplied as: 0.75 l.
