Description
Well Foam is a 1K PU gun foam developed specifically for the waterproof sealing of well rings and manhole rings. It cures chemical-resistant and rot-proof and replaces classic mortaring.
✅ Benefits at a glance
- ✔ Waterproof up to 0.5 bar – curing after only 6–20 hours
- ✔ Outstanding adhesion on almost all building substrates (except PE, PP, PTFE, silicones)
- ✔ HCFC- and CFC-free – propellant fully ozone-friendly
- ✔ Dimensionally stable without volume shrinkage after curing is complete
- ✔ Can be plastered and painted over for invisible application
🎯 Areas of application
- 🔧 Sealing and joining well rings and manhole rings
- 🔧 Sewer manholes and domestic sewage treatment plants
- 🔧 Alternative to time-consuming mortaring
- 🔧 Use on all common building substrates in civil engineering
- 🔧 Tested watertightness according to test reports from ofi Vienna and MFPA Leipzig
Product description in detail
Chemically and technically it is a 1-component polyurethane foam with a curing time of 6 to 20 hours and watertightness up to 0.5 bar. The application temperature is +5°C to +35°C for the substrate and +5°C to +25°C for the can. The foam is supplied in a 750 ml aerosol spray can, colour champagne.
Compared with standard foams, Well Foam impresses with resistance to solvents, paints, chemicals, oil, petrol and to bacteria and acids found in the ground. It is ageing-resistant but not UV-resistant – outdoors it should therefore be painted over or protected with a sealant (e.g. silicone, polyurethane, acrylic, MS polymer). Main areas of use are civil engineering, sewer construction and private and commercial manhole installations.
Practical tips: Shake the can vigorously approx. 30 times before use, lightly dampen the substrate for better adhesion and cell structure, place the next manhole ring within 10 minutes. Clean before curing with gun and foam cleaner, afterwards mechanically or with PU remover.
