Description
Soudal Silirub AQ transparent is a one-component silicone sealant based on acetic acid for the elastic bonding and sealing of all-glass aquariums, terrariums and display cabinets. The clear colour blends inconspicuously into the bond line. After complete curing it contains no substances harmful to fish.

Technical properties
Base polysiloxane, acetic-acid-curing, density approx. 1.03 g/ml, Shore A hardness approx. 26 ± 5, tensile strength approx. 2.91 N/mm², elongation at break over 700 %, skin-forming time approx. 12 min., through-curing approx. 2 mm/24 h (23 °C/50 % RH), temperature-resistant -60 °C to +180 °C, application +5 °C to +40 °C.
Application tips
Keep the substrate sound, clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Clean glass beforehand with Soudal PVC Degreaser. Before the first filling the silicone must have cured completely – several days depending on conditions. The adhesive layer should be at least 1 mm thick.
