Description
Aquafix is a one-component, crystal-clear joint sealant based on copolymer for quick emergency repairs in wet conditions and rain. It seals leaking gutters, downpipes and cracks in masonry immediately and adheres even under water and on bitumen.

Chemical and technical properties
Aquafix is based on solvent-containing copolymer (density approx. 0.95 g/ml), forms a skin after approx. 10 minutes and absorbs joint movement up to a maximum of 10 %. Resistant to temperature changes -20 °C to +90 °C, but only to a limited extent UV-resistant – therefore intended more for emergency repairs than for permanently weather-exposed visible joints. When curing, the compound shrinks by approx. 20 %, so fill larger joints in several layers.
Practical tips
Application temperature +5 °C to +30 °C, application with a manual or compressed-air gun. Keep the substrate clean and free of dust and grease – it may be damp, pre-treatment is not necessary. Clean tools with white spirit before curing. Can be stored unopened for 12 months at +5 °C to +25 °C.
