Description
PU sealing compound with high water vapour permeability. Ottoseal P305 Premium PU Sealant offers good weather and ageing resistance. This silicone-free PU sealing compound cures without bubbles. Ottoseal P305 Premium PU Sealant is suitable for applications according to IVD leaflet no. 7 and 9. The inexpensive Ottoseal P305 Premium PU Sealant is ideally suited to expansion joints and connection joints in building construction.

Areas of application of PU sealant:

Pre-treatment:
The bonding surfaces must be clean, free of grease, dry and sound. The bonding surfaces must be cleaned and any contamination, such as release agents, preservatives, grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives/sealants and other substances that impair adhesion, must be removed. Cleaning non-porous substrates: clean with OTTO Cleaner T (flash-off time approx. 1 minute) and a clean, lint-free cloth. Cleaning porous substrates: clean surfaces of loose particles mechanically, e.g. with a steel brush or a grinding disc.
Application:
Application temperature: +5ºC to +35ºC.
Application method: apply with a manual caulking gun, compressed-air gun or cordless gun.
Cleaning: with white spirit before curing, afterwards removable with silicone remover or mechanically.
Smoothing: with smoothing agent and scraper before a skin forms.
Storage:
Can be stored for at least 24 months cool and dry.
