Description
The GORI 88 COMPACT medium-build wood stain in the shade Colourless (9900) is a thixotropic, gel-like alkyd resin stain for professional wood protection outdoors. As a transparent version, Colourless keeps the natural wood colour and grain fully visible and offers the same reliable weather and UV protection as all pigmented shades. It permanently protects wooden façades, windows, doors and garden furniture from UV radiation, moisture and weathering – with a silk-gloss, open-pored surface that preserves the natural look of the wood.

Product details
GORI 88 COMPACT is based on a solvent-containing alkyd resin base with a high solids content. The thixotropic gel structure ensures an even film thickness without runs – ideal for profiled wood surfaces and window frames. The open-pored film formation allows natural moisture exchange and prevents flaking even in changing weather conditions.
GORI 88 COMPACT meets the requirements of EN 927-1 (classification) and EN 927-2 (outdoor weathering) for exterior stains. The product is usually applied in 2 coats on primed or pretreated wood.
Processing notes: Process only at +5 °C to +35 °C and in dry conditions. Check the wood moisture before application (dimensionally stable wood ≤ 15 %, limited dimensionally stable wood ≤ 18 %). Pre-treat end grain and strongly absorbent areas with diluted GORI stain (max. 10 % white spirit). Clean tools with white spirit.
