Description
Düfa D150 Premiumweiss Fassade is a matt façade paint based on silicone resin pure acrylic for protective coatings on plaster, masonry and load-bearing old coatings. To DIN EN 1062 it reaches classes W3 (low water permeability) and V1 (high water vapour permeability). The 10 l bucket covers around 29 m² with two coats and is intended for painters as well as homeowners painting a whole façade side.

Limits & notes
According to the manufacturer, no facade paint can guarantee permanent protection against algae and fungi; clean affected surfaces beforehand and pre-treat with a remediation solution. Do not apply in direct sun, rain, fog dampness, strong wind or below +5 °C. Check permanently elastic joints beforehand for paintability.

Application & tips
The substrate must be firm, dry, clean and sound; pre-treat old coatings, plasters and absorbent masonry according to the data sheet with düfa D 320 Silicon Deep Primer LF, coarsely porous and sanding surfaces with a solvent-based deep primer. Stir the paint and apply with brush, roller or airless. Dilute the first coat with at most 10 % water, the final coat undiluted or with at most 5 % water. Avoid skin contact; when spraying wear safety goggles and respiratory protection with combination filter A2/P2. At 20 °C and 65 % humidity it can be overpainted after 4–6 hours and is through-dry after about 3 days. Clean tools immediately with water, collect the rinse water separately and do not pour it down the drain. Store cool, dry and frost-free.

How much area can I cover with 10 litres?
At approx. 170 ml/m² per coat on smooth plaster around 59 m² painted once or 29 m² painted twice; rough surfaces need more.
How many coats do I need?
The manufacturer specifies two coats: a slightly diluted intermediate coat and a final coat.
Can I tint the paint?
Yes, with a maximum of 3 % full-shade or tinting paint; stronger shades are not intended for it.
Is the paint suitable for interior walls?
The data sheet names facades exclusively as the area of use, and the paint also contains film-protection active ingredients; for interior walls an interior paint is the suitable choice.
