Description
The Birtel Mini Stretch Film is a transparent hand stretch film for bundling, packaging and protecting small parts. The film is 20 µm thick, 100 mm wide and is wound 150 m long on a handy roll. It is aimed at tradespeople, warehouses and shipping as well as anyone who wants to hold parts together quickly during a house move or in the workshop.

Limits & notes
The narrow hand roll is intended for small and medium-sized packages. For wrapping whole pallets, pallet stretch film in 500 mm width is the right choice. For heavy or sharp-edged loads that need a firm hold, tensioning or strapping bands are safer than film.
Application & tips
Press the end of the film onto the packed item or wrap over it with the first layer, then guide the roll around the item under light tension. The tension stretches the film and makes it lie taut. Wrap the layers overlapping, tear or cut off the film at the end and smooth the end onto the previous layer. For sharp edges, cover the packed item with cardboard beforehand so the film does not tear.

Do I need a dispenser?
Not necessarily – the roll can be guided by hand; with a hand dispenser wrapping is quicker and more even. A dispenser is not included in the scope of delivery.
How much film is on the roll?
150 m at 100 mm width and 20 µm film thickness.
Can I secure a pallet with it?
For individual packages and bundles yes; for complete pallets, wide pallet stretch film is more suitable.
Is the film see-through?
Yes, it is transparent – inscriptions and labels under the film remain legible.
