Limits & notes
Not for natural stone such as marble or granite – a natural stone silicone is the right choice for that. Not for bonding over large areas; from 15 mm layer thickness ask the manufacturer's technical service. Avoid contact with bitumen, butyl, EPDM, neoprene or black coatings. In dark rooms without daylight, light shades can yellow. According to the data sheet, the declaration of no objection for the area close to food applies only to transparent, stainless steel and RAL 9010.
Labelling: The product is not classified under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008; no signal word applies. EUH208 Contains trimethoxyvinylsilane, 3-(triethoxysilyl)propylamine, 2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one. May produce an allergic reaction. EUH210 Safety data sheet available on request. Safety data sheet available from the manufacturer.
Application & tips
Bonding surfaces must be clean, free of grease, dry and sound. Clean non-porous surfaces with OTTO Cleaner T, porous ones with the steel brush. Apply at +5 to +35 °C with manual, compressed-air or cordless gun. Smooth before skin formation after approx. 10 minutes without pushing silicone layers over one another. Ensure good ventilation during application and curing and avoid skin contact. Store unopened and dry at +15 to +25 °C; according to the manufacturer a trial application is always necessary.
