What is Ottoseal S115 Construction Silicone?
Ottoseal S115 construction silicone transparent is a neutral-curing 1-component silicone sealant (RTV-1) for the permanently elastic sealing of joints in construction. The 580 ml foil bag in the shade transparent delivers plenty of material for connection joints on windows, doors and façades.

Technical details & application
🔬 Ottoseal S115 forms a skin after approx. 5–15 minutes at 23 °C/50 % r.h., reaches approx. 1.4 N/mm² tensile strength at approx. 550 % elongation at break (ISO 37, type 3) and is temperature-resistant from -40 °C to +180 °C. Application at +5 °C to +35 °C with hand, compressed-air or cordless gun. Keep bonding surfaces clean, dry and free of grease beforehand, clean non-porous substrates with OTTO Cleaner T, remove dust from porous substrates mechanically. Smooth the joint with smoothing agent before skin formation. Transparent remains visually almost invisible on glass and light substrates.
