Description
Ottoseal M350 is a silicone-free sealant based on MS hybrid polymer. Ottoseal M350 MS Polymer is characterised by weather and ageing resistance. Ottoseal M350 MS Polymer is used for sealing all common connection joints between door and window frames made of metal, aluminium, steel, PVC etc. The inexpensive Ottoseal M 350 MS Polymer is particularly suited to sealing and glazing insulating glass and composite windows.

- Meets the requirements of DIN 18545, Part 2, load group D
- Suitable for use in ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems according to VDI 6022, Sheet 1, tested to DIN EN ISO 846 (Institute of Hygiene, Berlin)
- Suitable for applications in accordance with IVD leaflet no. 9
Pre-treatment:
The bonding surfaces must be cleaned and any contamination, such as release agents, preservatives, grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives / sealants and other substances that impair adhesion, must be removed. Cleaning non-porous substrates: clean with OTTO Cleaner T (flash-off time approx. 1 minute) and a clean, lint-free cloth. Cleaning porous substrates: clean surfaces of loose particles mechanically, e.g. with a steel brush or a grinding disc.
Application:
Application temperature: +5ºC to +35ºC.
Application method: apply with a manual caulking gun, compressed-air gun or cordless gun.
Cleaning: with white spirit before curing, afterwards removable with silicone remover or mechanically.
Smoothing: with smoothing agent and scraper before a skin forms.
Storage:
12 months from the date of production in unopened packaging, stored cool (+5ºC to +25ºC) and dry. Close opened containers tightly and use up quickly. We recommend storing the adhesives / sealants in the unopened original containers dry (< 60 % RH) in a temperature range of + 15° C to + 25° C. If the products are stored and/or transported for longer periods (several weeks) at higher temperature/humidity, a reduction in shelf life or a change in material properties cannot be ruled out.
