Detailed description
The premium acrylic sealant OTTOSEAL® A 205 is a 1K acrylic sealant that, thanks to its flexible properties, is also suitable for larger joint movements. The sealant can be painted over with commercially available emulsion paints and does not yellow or grey. This makes it the perfect choice for all connection joints in interior fit-out on walls and ceilings, e.g. between wall and door frame or over skirting boards. It is low in odour and has good UV resistance, which ensures long durability in weathered areas. It is paint-compatible according to DIN 52452, which means there are no interactions with existing and adjoining coatings. It is frost-insensitive and can be stored and transported for up to 48 hours at max. -10 °C. It is tested to EN 15651 - Part 1 - F EXT-INT 12.5 P and has tested fire behaviour according to EN 13501: class E. It is EMICODE® EC 1 Plus - very low emission - and holds the quality seal of the IVD - German Sealant Industry Association - tested by the ift - Institute for Window Technology, Rosenheim. It conforms to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH) and has a declaration in Baubook Austria. It has the French VOC emission class A+.
